OVERVIEW: My brand!  My brand!  What about my brand?

Social media and Web 2.0 technologies are rapidly changing the rules. Consumers have more tools at their disposal than ever to voice their opinions about you, your brand, and your products and services… with a “voice” often as loud as your marketing budget.

Marketing professionals, from the self-employed to the boardrooms of the largest corporations in the world, are realizing that the era of having tight control of their brands is over. Where there is change, there is opportunity, however.  In the age of Twitter, Facebook and the mobile Internet, it’s time to rethink the concept of branding.

In this fast-moving seminar, branding and social media expert Eric Weaver will review the art and craft of branding. Eric will look at the cultural trends driving social media adoption, re-examining the practice of branding in this new era as it applies to both organizations and individuals. The seminar will include case studies of successful social branding efforts as well as cautionary tales, and will include plenty of hints and tips from Eric’s extensive professional experience that you can apply to your business immediately.
