I’m very excited to announce that I’ll be speaking at Search Marketing Summit India, at the Hotel Chancery Pavilion in Bengalaru on February 2-3, 2011. This will be my second trip to India and I am incredibly excited to go back. The people are amazing and this trip will take me to the south (a new region for me). I’m also hoping to connect with current and former members (and friends) from the SumTotal web marketing team (a client for many years).
What’s great about this conference is that the proceeds go to the Akshaya Patra Foundation – a non-profit school meal provider that feeds over a million children a day. I’ve spoken a lot for traditional conferences and events where the goal was to draw more attendees – it’s much more fulfilling to do what I love in order to help feed needy kids!
I’ll also be speaking with some very well-known search marketing experts like Gillian Muessig of SEOmoz and Ian McAnerin of McAnerin International. Gillian and I met at the 2009 World Brand Congress in Mumbai and then again in Vancouver at an Executing Social Media luncheon—she is a very compelling and insightful speaker and I’m very much looking forward to spending more time with her and the rest of the speakers.
For more information about the conference or to register, please visit the conference website. The conference announcement is here. You can also add it to your Plancast, your Lanyrd or your LinkedIn Events.
